Over the past few weeks the Digital Communities Wales: Digital Confidence, Health and Well-being Programme, delivered by the Wales Co-operative Centre, has been distributing the devices to care homes in all parts of Wales, and is providing remote support and training to key workers on how to use and operate the technology with people in their care. - Resident sees daughter's dog for the first time … Many of them are already coping with issues such as loneliness, poverty or unemployment – issues which are being made worse by not being online. Digital Communities Wales – Digital Confidence, Health and Well-being supports organisations that are working with digitally excluded people. Digital Communities Wales tackles digital exclusion by helping organisations that are working with people who could benefit from having basic digital skills. Non-essential cookies are also used to tailor and improve services. Training for staff and volunteers to them help others get online and use the internet effectively and safely. We also build partnerships between organisations where working together can progress digital inclusion aims. It is working with the health and social care sector with the aim of helping people increase their confidence using digital health resources and services.
