The Äscher restaurant and the flat peak of Ebenalp were our aims. You have several ways to tackle this ridge, but as an easy-going dayhike with lots of variety, I’d suggest taking the aerial tram from Wasserauen to Ebenalp. From the top of the cable car, it’s a short walk through a cave, past by an old hermit’s hut and “wild” church, until you reach the guest house and restaurant.
